Detailed representational practice
Hyperrealism uses exacting representation to intensify attention. The result can feel more insistent or constructed than ordinary seeing.

A closer look
Choose which details matter before asking for more of them.
Understanding the subject
Hyperrealism is associated with highly detailed representational work, often engaging with photographic appearances while making deliberate changes in scale, surface or emphasis. It should not be reduced to a prompt for maximum sharpness. Different artists use detail for different purposes, and an image can be technically elaborate without becoming meaningful. Photorealistic appearance also does not establish that a depicted event or object existed.
AOI looking and making workshop
Choose which details matter before asking for more of them. A fingerprint on glass, a crease in skin or a worn edge can direct attention more effectively than uniform microtexture. Keep depth of field and light internally consistent so the scene remains plausible. In generated work, inspect repeating patterns, reflections and object connections at close range. Avoid invented documentary claims. A strong exercise contrasts meticulous surfaces with a simple composition, allowing the viewer to notice how representation transforms an ordinary subject into something unusually present.
The prompt workshop
Original creative exercises. These prompts create new illustrations, not documentary evidence.
A close ordinary object
Create an original hyperrealistic illustration of a used drinking glass on a plain table, subtle fingerprints, coherent reflections and soft side light. Keep the composition simple and avoid exaggerated sparkle.
Material scrutiny
Create a detailed still life of a folded leather glove, a scratched spoon and a ripe pear, emphasizing distinct surfaces and believable contact shadows. Use one consistent light source.
Scale changes attention
Create an original enlarged close-up of a torn paper edge with precise fibers and a quiet background, turning an ordinary material into a monumental form without adding unrelated objects.
