Engrave a fragile structure

Copperplate engraving is a real printmaking method, and snowflakes have sixfold crystal symmetry. Six main arms organize smaller branches, while short hatching strokes give them weight on the paper.

Draw the six-arm framework before adding detail. Repeat each branch family consistently, but allow modest hand-drawn variation so the image does not look like a computer icon.
