Build an optical effect from grains

The reviewed image is not a physics diagram or a claim that pollen works as a glass prism. This AOI visual experiment treats a prism as compositional geometry: one beam enters, several color fields depart. The imagined particles stay visibly granular, especially at the boundaries where gold, orange, blue and violet meet. Against the black ground, the central triangular form remains crisp without looking like polished glass.

Start with one large triangle and one clear diagonal approach. Gather warm dust densely on the entrance side, then let cooler colors spread into distinct outgoing bands. Permit grains to escape each edge in small quantities. If every band is perfectly smooth, the material looks digitally airbrushed; if dust scatters everywhere, the prism loses its precise direction.

Protect the quiet field

Dark negative space is what makes the fine particles luminous. Keep the brightest grain cluster near the pivotal corner and reduce detail elsewhere. A useful prompt names the triangle's orientation, the color sequence and the size of escaping dust. At small scale the eye should follow a single optical turn; close up, individual flecks and velvety accumulation should still be visible.
