Give color a container
The metal-fluid material is fictional. This AOI creative experiment is not a claim about a new alloy or a practical manufacturing method. Its strong visual rule is the contrast between a rigid dark skeleton and liquid color that appears mobile inside it. The reviewed example uses a sphere because a curved frame makes the fluid chambers especially visible.
Build the metal silhouette first and leave a few wide openings. Let blue and amber occupy separate chambers so their colors stay legible rather than mixing into brown. Add a small amount of visible circulation within each window. If the outer frame becomes too ornate, the viewer misses the central contradiction: the dark metal holds what looks like light-filled liquid.
Project the color into the room
Backlight or a low side sun can make the fluid chambers glow. Their reflections on a floor explain why the colored windows matter beyond the object itself. For a new image, specify one main metal form, the number of liquid compartments and the direction of projected color. Check that the chambers remain transparent, bounded and visibly distinct.
