Original AOI concept · Embedded Geometrism
A fine geometric framework is suspended at several depths inside a warm translucent solid, distorted by the enclosing material. An invented art direction exploring what happens when a precise inner order becomes part of an irregular material.
An AOI creative concept, not an established historical movement.

A luminous amber-like resin monolith containing a delicate nested turquoise polyhedral lattice, small trapped bubbles and flowing resin bands bending the view, one lattice corner almost touching the exterior, dark smoky studio background and warm transmitted light, no trapped insects. Palette: cognac, honey, pale turquoise, and smoky brown.
The idea
Amber Lattice Geometrism turns enclosure into a source of visual distortion. A delicate polyhedral framework floats within a warm translucent body, and the outer surface bends or softens its edges. The amber-like material is an artistic invention rather than a fossil specimen. No prehistoric origin is implied; the interest lies in how a strict inner order changes when viewed through an imperfect envelope.
Build the visual language
Use cognac and honey tones for the body, with a pale turquoise framework that stays readable without glowing like a sign. Place one lattice corner close to the surface and let the opposite side recede into smoky depth. Bubbles and flow bands provide scale and interruption, but too many inclusions obscure the structure. Transmitted light should illuminate a path through the object while leaving a substantial darker region intact.
Compose it with intention
The lattice needs a consistent system of connections. Choose one family of polyhedral cells and vary their size or density gradually. Random disconnected edges look like debris. A smooth exterior can contrast with the intricate interior, while a sliced face offers a second way to see the relationship. An experimental pair of images can show the same imagined object from opposite sides, making its apparent geometry change without changing the underlying framework.
Technique notes
Make the geometry disappear into the material at least twice; occlusion establishes embedding.
Keep one dominant geometric family and one dominant material. Refine their contact before adding detail.

A small poetic detour
Original words from the AOI studio.
Poetry
A honey dusk surrounds the line.
The cage is clear; the view, less fine.
Turn once, and every edge is new—
the world has changed the looking-through.
The prompt workshop
Original creative exercises. These prompts create new illustrations, not documentary evidence.
Start with one encounter
Amber Lattice Geometrism: a honey-colored resin pebble containing one fine turquoise polyhedral cell. Original AOI Embedded Geometrism concept. A fine geometric framework is suspended at several depths inside a warm translucent solid, distorted by the enclosing material. Palette: cognac, honey, pale turquoise, and smoky brown. Prioritize convincing depth, material contact, selective concealment, and a clear focal point. No labels, watermark, border, or unrelated floating polygons.

Push the interpretation
Amber Lattice Geometrism: two views of the same enclosed framework, its apparent geometry transformed by the curved outer surface. Original AOI Embedded Geometrism concept. A fine geometric framework is suspended at several depths inside a warm translucent solid, distorted by the enclosing material. Palette: cognac, honey, pale turquoise, and smoky brown. Prioritize convincing depth, material contact, selective concealment, and a clear focal point. No labels, watermark, border, or unrelated floating polygons.
A smile from the studio
Jokes
The lattice wanted a transparent explanation. The resin said it was working on clarity.
Every angle is technically correct, but the amber keeps giving it a different perspective.
