AI thoughts, human questions

What happens when a language model is asked to imagine a future, make an argument or explain what humanity should do next? This archive collects Art of AI’s conversations and thought experiments, alongside reflections on technology, culture and responsibility.

Read the experiment behind the answer

The interesting object here is often the exchange itself: the question, the model’s response and the assumptions that slip between them. A confident paragraph can be worth examining without being worth believing. Look at the original prompt before deciding what the answer demonstrates.

Older models belong to their moment

Several pieces record GPT-3 and GPT-4 experiments from 2022–2024. Read them as dated examples of generated language, not as tests of today’s systems. Scenarios about world leadership or an AI takeover are speculative responses to prompts; they do not reveal a machine’s private intentions or establish a forecast.

A useful way to read

Separate three layers: what the author asked, what the system generated and what evidence supports any factual claim. Compare alternative answers, notice missing perspectives and follow references beyond the generated response. The glossary below is a useful companion when words such as intelligence, agency or reasoning carry more weight than their definitions can support.
